Having studied law and criminology, George Moschos is engaged in empowering and supporting children and teenagers, as well as in defending youth rights and adult education. In 2003, he was appointed as the first Deputy Ombudsman for Children’s Rights in Greece, and held that post until January 2018. He is a founding member of the "Initiative for Article 12" ("InArt12").
Born in 1985, and having graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Despoina Paraskeva-Veloudogianni undertook her postgraduate studies in "Political Science and Sociology" at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, NKUA, where she is currently a PhD candidate. She is the author of the book "The Enemy, The Blood, The Punisher. Analyzing Thirteen Speeches of the 'Leader' of Golden Dawn" ("O Echthros, To Aima, O Timoros. Analyontas Dekatreis Logous Tou Archigou Tis Chrysis Augis"). She works as an editor. She is a member of "Democratic Education" ("Dimokratiki Paideia").
Born in 1985 in Athens, Orestis Didimiotis graduated from the Psychology Department of the Panteion University of Athens, and pursued his postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Birkbeck College at the University of London, specializing in Social Sciences. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and member of "Democratic Education" ("Dimokratiki Paideia").
Angelos Vallianatos holds a PhD in Theology and is a theology educator. From 2003 to 2018, he worked as a School Advisor in Athens. He is an adult trainer in various educator programmes as well as the educational programmes of the Council of Europe and the European Wergeland Centre. He is trained and works in the fields of intercultural education, human rights and democratic citizenship education in Greece and abroad. He has written, translated, and participated in various writing teams. He has presented topics relevant to his specialization and his experience as a trainer, in both Greece and abroad.
Currently a PostDoc Researcher at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean, and a Teaching Associate at the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Art Works of the University of West Attica, Yiannis Christodoulou holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a M.Sc. in Global Computing & Multimedia, and a bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests are on Cognitive Representation and Web Ontologies, with an emphasis on Digital Humanities.
Serving at the Institute of Educational Policy of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece, Theodora Asteri specializes in Pedagogic and Didactic Methodology with an emphasis on Special and Integrative Education. She also holds the position of A' Level Special Education Counselor.
Isabel Tsiantoula has graduated from the School of English Language and Philology of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and has also studied for a semester at the Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). She holds an M.A in "Teaching English as a Foreign Language" which she obtained from the University of Leeds. Since 2005 she has worked as an educator in the field of English Language, at primary and secondary education schools, as well as at Public Institutes of Vocational Training and Second Chance Schools.
As a Physical Education teacher and a postgraduate and PhD holder in Social Psychology, Angeliki Aroni has worked for 17 years in intercultural schools in Athens, using Physical Education and games as a tool to promote social cohesion. At the same time, she has implemented various projects on human rights and democratic citizenship. Since September 2016, she has been leading the Working Group on the Management, Coordination and Monitoring of the Refugee Education, at the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.
He is a psychologist, holding a bachelor's degree from the University of Padova (Italy), and a specialized master's degree in Social Psychiatry-Paedopsychiatry from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. Since 1988, he has occupied various positions in the public and non-profit sector. He has been serving as a Scientific Advisor at Babel, a day centre providing mental health services to migrants. Since 1992, he has been cooperating as an adult trainer with national and international organizations on topics related to his area of expertise. His articles have been published in Greek and international scientific journals.
